The hotel takes the whole block between the Revolution Square, Teatralnaya, Manejnaya Square and Okhotnyi Ryad. The historical building of “Moscow” Hotel was created in constructionism style.

During the renovation that was started in 2003 historical image and former overall dimensions were left almost the same. For this project the chief architect had chosen Finnish granite, that had the most suitable pattern for an old material covering the faсade part of the historical building.

All stone detailed drawings and fixing schemes for straight faсade parts and all complicated decorative elements were prepared by our architectural department. Quality control department had chosen each block at quarry. Tiles cutting and manufacturing of all architectural elementswas made under our control.

Each faсade part mock-up was approved in scale 1-1 by architects and main contractorsbefore the shipment. Ventilated faсade fixing was made with our subconstruction GEN-1. Total amount of works was about 2800m2 of facades and 900m2 of landscaping.

Faсade construction included straight tiles, massive window and door frames, cornice parts, columns, bases and pilasters. All project from ellaboration of shop drawings tothe final fixing stage was done by GENMAR.
