The hotel takes the whole block between\u00a0the Revolution Square, Teatralnaya,\u00a0Manejnaya Square and Okhotnyi Ryad.\u00a0The historical building of \u201cMoscow\u201d Hotel\u00a0was created in constructionism style.<\/p>\n
During the renovation that was started in\u00a02003 historical image and former overall\u00a0dimensions were left almost the same.\u00a0For this project the chief architect had\u00a0chosen Finnish granite, that had the most\u00a0suitable pattern for an old material covering\u00a0the fa\u0441ade part of the historical building.<\/p>\n
All stone detailed drawings and fixing\u00a0schemes for straight fa\u0441ade parts and all\u00a0complicated decorative elements were\u00a0prepared by our architectural department.\u00a0Quality control department had chosen\u00a0each block at quarry. Tiles cutting and\u00a0manufacturing of all architectural elementswas made under our control.<\/p>\n
Each fa\u0441ade part mock-up was approved in\u00a0scale 1-1 by architects and main contractorsbefore the shipment.\u00a0Ventilated fa\u0441ade fixing was made with our\u00a0subconstruction GEN-1. Total amount of\u00a0works was about 2800m2 of facades and\u00a0900m2 of landscaping.<\/p>\n
Fa\u0441ade construction included straight tiles,\u00a0massive window and door frames, cornice\u00a0parts, columns, bases and pilasters. All\u00a0project from ellaboration of shop drawings tothe final fixing stage was done by GENMAR.<\/p>\n
